Who We Are Looking For
Private Signature Care places candidates across six specialist categories — maternity nurses, newborn care specialists, night nannies, nannies, au pairs, governesses, private tutors, private companions, live-in carers, housekeepers, house managers, and household couples.
We are selective. We do not maintain a large open register — we work with candidates we have personally interviewed and in whom we have genuine confidence. If you are placed by PSC, it is because we believe you are exceptional at what you do.
What We Look For
Proven experience
Relevant professional experience in your specialist area, with verifiable references from private household employers.
Absolute discretion
An instinctive understanding of the privacy and confidentiality expected in private household work.
Professional presentation
The manner, communication, and personal standards expected by the families we work with.
Genuine commitment
A long-term commitment to your profession — not a stopgap, but a vocation.
What Happens Next

Initial conversation
If your application is of interest, a member of the PSC team will contact you to arrange a preliminary telephone conversation.
Personal interview
Candidates who progress are invited to a personal interview with a PSC director — by video or in person.
Vetting & registration
Successful candidates complete our vetting process — DBS check, reference verification, and qualification checks — before joining the register.
